For Schools

Field Trips

Imagine Theatre programming is created for kids in grades K through 5.

Student matinee tickets cost only $10 per student/educator.

A Trip to the Live Theatre

Our productions are 55 to 65 minutes long and are followed by a 15-minute Q&A with the cast. Educational packets that cover play themes, geography, videos from the creative team, and curriculum ties are sent to educators at least 2 weeks prior to the field trip date. Visiting schools are given priority for entering participants in the Women Lead mentorship program.

Imagine Theatre student matinees are open to public and private schools. Homeschool pods of at least 10 students are welcome at our weekday student matinees.

Women Lead

An enrichment program for 5th grade girls.

How It Began

In 2019, Imagine Theatre launched Women Lead – an initiative aimed at inspiring girls to aspire to positions of leadership in their professional lives.  In 2022, the program evolved into a mentorship program.

The best way to ignite a desire in young women to become tomorrow’s leaders is by lighting the fire of leadership within them. Through an in-person meeting with a group of local female leaders, local 5th grade girls get the opportunity meet these women.  Our goal is to introduce the women behind female-led enterprises to girls in 5th grade to inspire them to aspire.

📣 We believe in mentorship and empowerment through the advancement of accessibility, equity, and parity.

The girls interact with our women leaders at a meet-and-greet event created specifically for this program. After spending time together, the girls write to us giving us their first, second, and third choices of women they would like to visit at the workplace. Imagine Theatre arranges this visit for the girls to shadow their chosen female leader in the workplace, and  to observe up close female leaders in action.

Inspiring Leadership

Much like Anahit’s story (our 2022 production’s heroine), our Women Lead program seeks to motivate young women to proactively engage with their parents and educators about their life’s trajectory. This program builds self-worth, while nurturing confidence and sense of responsibility. By introducing the girls to successful women in their own community, we demystify female leadership roles, contribute to their personal success, and empower them to think of a path not traditionally taught to our young women.

The next Women Lead program will take place in the Spring of 2023. Schools that visit Imagine Theatre productions are given priority for entering their 5th grade students in the program.
